Heavily influenced by his time in China and Thailand, Simon's writing usually features strong, quirky, Asian female protagonists, surreal situations, and ghosts with very long hair. When not writing, Simon listens to post and prog rock at a very loud volume. He also plays a lot of air-guitar.
