Professor Olivier Coussy, Université Paris-Est, France
Professor Coussy is currently head of the Navier Research Unit at Université Paris-Est, a joint research unit between Ecole des Ponts and Laboratoire Central des Ponts et Chaussées. He has authored more than eighty scientific papers, as well as five books. He has co-authored 'Mechanics and Durability of Solids' with Franz-Josef Ulm, with volume 1 published in 2002 and volume 2 due to be published June 2008, both with Prentice Hall. He has also written previously for Wiley, 'Mechanics of Porous Continua' (1995) and the updated second edition of this title, 'oromechanics' in 2003.
