He received his PhD Degree from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada and his Bachelor of Science (2003) and Master of Science (2005) Degrees from the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. His research areas are mathematical modelling, manufacturing and characterization of fuel cells, organic Rankine cycles, heat exchanger design and modelling and thermodynamic modelling of integrated energy systems. He has co-authored several important publications in the field of fuel cells and renewable energy systems. He has been actively taking roles in the organizing committee of several international conferences related to energy and environment. He has also served as guest editor of several prestigious journals related to energy and aviation.
Onder Altuntas is an Associate Professor Doctor in the Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics in Eskisehir Technical University and a member of the Aviation Research Center in Anadolu University. He received his BSc and MSc in the School of Civil Aviation and Graduate School of Sciences at Anadolu University in 2007 and 2011, respectively. He received his PhD in 2011. In 2013, he took the title of an Associate Professor as the expert of aircraft thrust and energy technology in Engineering. He has presented many papers at various national and international conferences so far.
