According to the relevance of the concept Industry 4.0 and its early stage of implementation it is essential to clarify terminology, explain relations and identify drivers and challenges for an appropriate use of Industry 4.0 technologies. The results will constitute a profound basis to formulate recommendations for action for technology suppliers and technology users.

Über den Autor

Christoph Jan Bartodziej graduated from Technical University of Berlin with a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management under the supervision of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Frank Straube at the logistics chair. He is currently engaged as management consultant for technology related advisory and implementation topics in an international consultancy company.
