Mary Knight is the award-winning author of Saving Wonder (Scholastic Press) and enjoys presenting at schools and conferences around the country. She especially loves talking about writing with her middle grade readers who often give her new insights into her novels. When she's not coaching other writers on their book-length manuscripts or traveling around the country, Mary enjoys taking long walks, kayaking, and playing with her grandkids in her hometown of Lexington, Kentucky, where she lives with her sweetheart and their very polite cat.
